Under the alias "Asante" the song "Diagonal" reached 153k + streams on Spotify. The song was released in June of 2020. Moqemàe has released 12 commercial singles under the alias "Asante", as well as 2 EPs: "Heater Pack" and "Cuffing Season". In total, Asante has eclipsed over 260 Thousand streams on all platforms!

GRADUATED FANSHAWE'S MUSIC INDUSTRY ARTS PROGRAM!
Moqemàe has completed Fanshawe's Music Industry Arts program (MIA), run by 2-time Juno-winning and Grammy-nominated Engineer Dan Brodbeck. MIA graduates are among some of the world’s best producers and performers for over 40 years, including Oscar, JUNO and Primetime Emmy winners. Fanshawe's Music Industry Arts program is a creative and practical environment that allows students to discover and develop the artistic, technical and business skills that will prepare them to compete in today's evolving music and entertainment industry.

FAN FAVOURITE AWARD AT THE FOREST CITY LONDON MUSIC AWARDS and BEST HIP-HOP/R&B ARTIST AT THE EC AWARDS
Under the alias "Asante", Moqemàe was nominated for "Best Hip-Hop/R&B Artist" at the Essence and Culture Awards, alongside Motown's Emanuel and Universals King Cruff. Moqemàe won the award that night! Moqemàe has been nominated again in 2023 by the Essence and Culture Awards for the "Best Artist" award. Moqemàe has been nominated by the Forest City London Music Awards for two separate awards. The first award Moqemàe was nominated for was "Best Pop Artist" in 2021. Asante was nominated for the "Fan Favourite" award in 2022 by the Forest City London Music Awards. He was nominated for the Fan Favourite award again in 2023, this time he left with the prestigious award!
PERFORMANCES AT BUDWEISER GARDENS, LONDON MUSIC HALL, LEE'S PALACE AND MANY MORE!
Under the alias "Asante", Moqemàe has performed at Budweiser Gardens' "Revive Live" show. This stage was graced by acts such as Avril Lavigne, Justin Beiber and Neil young. Asante has performed on the main stage at the London Music Hall at Fanshawe's "Share the Land" performance. Moqemàe also opened for Bella Rosa at her Rum Runners show in the London Music Hall. Moqemàe headlined the "Play the Park" series sponsored by TD Canada. He also Headlined at the OPPI/OALA conference at RBC Place in London Ontario. Moqemàe has performed in front of crowds of 200 people at Western University. Moqemàe has performed many times at Masonville Mall, contracted by Curbside Concerts. Moqemàe is well known in Toronto. He opened for Dax at Lee's Palace in 2022, and was recently booked to open up for Mad Child at the Rec Room.

The future "King of Melodies," Moqemàe is a multifaceted artist hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A distinguished singer, rapper, and songwriter, Moqemàe has earned acclaim as an award-winning artist and captivating performer. His musical journey transcends traditional genres, weaving a rich soundscape that reflects various moods.
Moqemàe grew up in a music-oriented family, where music was playing around the house 24/7. His love for music was ignited by his mother, who exposed him to a diverse range of artists spanning from Notorious B.I.G, Mary J. Blige and Sade to The Eagles, Bon Jovi and Israel Houghton in a single listening session. She is the reason why Moqemàe didn’t know genres existed before he got into high school. Embracing this eclectic influence, Moqemàe identifies himself as a mood creator rather than being confined to a specific genre.
Moqemàe has had a prominent career so far. Under the alias Asante, Moqemàe was nominated for the Best Pop Award in 2021, being the youngest Black Male Artist nominated for Best Pop Artist in the 19-year run of the Forest City London Music Awards. Moqemàe was nominated for "Best Hip-Hop/R&B Artist" at the Essence and Culture Awards, alongside Motown's Emanuel and Universal’s King Cruff. Moqemàe took home the award that night! The FCLMA acknowledged his dedication to music once again in 2023, honoring him with the prestigious "Fan Favorite" award. Moqemàe believes these accolades are a result of his dedication and commitment to his craft, as well as his knowledge on the industry as a graduate of the Music Industry Arts Program at Fanshawe College. This renowned program is overseen by 2-time Juno award winner and Grammy-nominated Producer Dan Brodbeck, solidified Moqemàe's foundation in the music business, production, and engineering.
As a natural-born performer, Moqemàe's journey has taken him from high school skits to captivating audiences with original songs at venues across Toronto and London, Ontario. Notable performances include opening for Dax at Lee's Palace, headlining the Hip-hop Supermarket show at the Rivoli, and sharing the stage with veteran artist Madchild at the Rec Room.
Active in the UNESCO city of music, London, Ontario, Moqemàe has left an indelible mark on the local music scene. His performances at iconic venues like the London Music Hall and Budweiser Gardens, as well as appearances at Western University events and corporate shows for RBC and TD Bank, showcase his versatility and widespread appeal.
Under the new rebrand, Moqemàe released his debut single "Tweaking" on April 23rd, with much more music on the way.
